Captain Normal reports that CaptainNormal.org: "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen".
Basically, Bush goes to a town of 130 in Idaho and is greeted by more than 200 protesters. The anti-war movement is getting stronger each moment and everywhere Bush goes from now on there will be larger and larger crowds of American citizens demanding answers on Iraq.
And Mr. Bush? Oh yeah, he met with some families that don't share the anti-war movement's point of view. Go figure. You mean, he instructed his staff to only show him war supporter families? Wow, the mind boggles that he'd intentionally ignore the anti-war crowd.
Oh wait, no it doesn't. He's been acting like a scared little cowardly bitch ever since Cindy Sheehan decided to demand answers from him.

The Post Realizes the Lie
Post Drops Plan to Promote Pentagon Event. The Pentagon is going to host a Freedom March on 9/11 to commemorate the deaths on that day but they're also trying to drum up support for the illegal oil war in Iraq (and, of course, bump up their recruitment numbers).
The concept is in incredibly poor taste and I applaud the Post's realization that the march was a farce.
Watch as more sponsors jump ship on this terribly offensive idea.
And repeat after me one more time. Iraq and Saddam Hussein had absolutely nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Osama bin Laden masterminded the attacks and he is still roaming free almost four years later. Why is that?

Historical Bush Approval Ratings
Looking at Bush's Historical Approval Ratings, I can see light at the end of the tunnel, I can see that people are starting to realize that he's not the man they thought they were electing.
Though, even with pathetic approval ratings, he still got re-elected and has done virtually nothing to bridge the divide he created.
Of course, this goes to the 20th of April and not much since then so I'm guessing the numbers have continued to plummet as more and more people finally glom on to the fact that he's not leading a nation, he's leading a bunch of greedy corporations and business groups in making billions of dollars off the blood of your children and mine.
Yep, here's a USA Today poll from two weeks ago, what's the breakdown? 44% approval rating, 51% disapproval rating. His lowest numbers yet. Nice. And yet, he's off on a 5 week vacation that will see him crowned as the most non-working president in the history of the country. If he doesn't like to work so much then why would he have bothered to run again? Oh yeah, to make his boys billions of dollars. I keep forgetting.

Played Out? We Can Only Hope
Coulter Plagiarizes 20 Year Old Sources. Looks like the maven of mean and stupid is running out of her own ideas so she's just going to steal them. Isn't that special?
There are two camps when it comes to Ann Coulter, the one side that can see she's utterly batshitinsane and just says whatever will get her some publicity even though its basis in truth is, at best, dubious and, at worst, outright fabrications. The other side thinks she's, you know, hawt and awesome because she's, um, hawt and pisses Democrats off.
She brings nothing, she's nasty looking (like an exploded asshole really) and she hasn't said a truthful thing since, well, ever. Which, I'm sure, is part of her attraction to the GOP. Lies smothered in more lies is their standard operating procedure.

Men of Vision Don't Need Checks and Balances
Bush Appoints Bolton, Bypassing Senate and effectively dropping a nice big steaming pile on the built-in checks and balances in our nomination procedures.
But its okay because a whopping 51% of the nation handed this simpering fool a fucking mandate. So now he's going to do any damned thing he pleases. And it should be wholly apparent to anyone paying attention now that he doesn't give the first damn about this country, he doesn't give the first damn about you or me or anyone else not already in his inner circle.
But if you're in the inner circle, hi Karl Rove!, then you are teflon. Even committing what is appearing more and more like high treason during wartime isn't enough to even get suspended. Nothing disgusts like excusing corrupt and craven behaviours.
Are you Bush voters happy? Are you pleased that he's circumventing procedures put in place to prevent this mad, mad power grab?
Are you happy we're losing the war on terror? Are you happy that the terrorists are recruiting far, far faster than we can keep up or kill them? Are you happy that the Middle East is teetering on the brink of full scale collapse? I'm not and I'm ready to support impeachment calls. I'm ready for someone with a damned clue to step in and start to right the ship that George has been driving drunkenly for years now.
John Bolton is an abusive asshole and he's our voice in the UN now? It is getting absolutely fucking ridiculous even to watch the farce that is the Bush Administration. If only he weren't so incredibly damaging to our country both within and without.
I would support charging George W. Bush with war crimes, fraud, intelligence manipulation, coercion, collusion and deep, deep corruption.
