ACLU Report on POW Torture and Murder

Please, anyone willing to try and defend these murdering bastards, please speak up and explain how torturing POW's to death is acceptable in any way. Please explain how beating POW's to death will help us in the War on Terror. Dick Cheney has introduced a bill that would exempt the CIA from being held responsible for the death of prisoners in their charge. Basically, they can beat any detainee to death and its totally alright by Cheney, not just totally alright, its encouraged. These people (Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Gonzales and the rest of them) are completely without shame or any moral guidelines. And what they really need to be is without freedom to spread their evilness, they need to be thrown into a dark room and left there until they rot back into the dirt they came from.

The fact that they keep talking about doing God's work and spreading democracy is perverted and grotesque. Democracy does NOT involve being hung from your wrists and then being beaten to death or strangled or electro-shock treated. No God worth idolizing would desire the murder of others, no God worth worshipping would ask his/her followers to treat others so inhumanely.

Also, there's this, Vice President for Torture. Which starts with this paragraph to illustrate how freaking crazy these people are and how powermad they are and how far removed from reality they've become.

"VICE PRESIDENT Cheney is aggressively pursuing an initiative that may be unprecedented for an elected official of the executive branch: He is proposing that Congress legally authorize human rights abuses by Americans. "Cruel, inhuman and degrading" treatment of prisoners is banned by an international treaty negotiated by the Reagan administration and ratified by the United States. The State Department annually issues a report criticizing other governments for violating it. Now Mr. Cheney is asking Congress to approve legal language that would allow the CIA to commit such abuses against foreign prisoners it is holding abroad. In other words, this vice president has become an open advocate of torture."

I don't want these people representing my country because they do not represent this nation, they represent themselves and they are the most reprehensible scumbags to ever sit in office. They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves and the only way they could regain any mote of honor would be commit ritual suicide. But they have no interest in honor, only adding more zeroes to their bank accounts.

Cheney is the Leak

Well now, that wasn't so hard to get to, was it? Cheney told top aide of CIA officer: report. So then, let's get right to the execution then, shall we? High Treason is an executable offense and I think it would go a long way toward restoring some faith in the office if the president had this vice president executed for committing high treason in the outing of a CIA agent during wartime.

So let's get to it.

Crony Jobs

Where does Bush turn to when he needs yet another wholly unqualified nutter to staff a new vacancy? Why he turns to Crony Jobs to find the worst candidates possible who he happens to know or who contributed big dollars to his re-election campaign so its time to pay them back.

Qualifications? Hell, let someone else worry about qualifications. Bush doesn't have any to be president so why should he hold his staffers to a standard that he's not held to.

Are You There, God? It's Me, George

God told George W. Bush to invade Iraq. Nice to know that he's coming clean about the WMD's and just blaming it all on God. Now he's just another Christian soldier following orders so he can't be blamed for the colossal fuckup he's created.

Well George, if God talks to you then why don't you ask him to figure out a damned exit strategy so we can bring our troops home. And, since he seems to favor you, why don't you ask him to smite all them pesky terrorists for us.

Disaster = Bush

The text in the photo reads Bush: One of the worst disasters to hit the United States. And really, it is about time that the media started being honest again. This is a really good first step. Now the leak of the Plame identity should be prosecuted and punished, the spy in the White House, the lame ass Halliburton garbage, the wielding of religion like a weapon, the attempts to amend the Constitution to exclude same sex unions, the energy bill that was just passed that's basically a "We Love Oil, Yes We Do" rah-rah bullshit cheer and all of the Bush's other "mandate"-powered initiatives. Oh yeah, Intelligent Design, there's a winner. Let's teach kids something we already know to be as wrong. That makes total sense.
