A thread I posted up to MetaFilter today about US soldiers torturing and killing journalists in Iraq turned up a link to this site that gives an excellent sense of what $87,000,000,000.00 looks like.
Also, another member posted his own attempts to come to grips with just how many people have been dying during this war. He counted out BB's and laid them out to snap some pics. Its pretty amazing.
