Unethics in Congress

Report Summaries | Beyond Delay details the pisspoor ethical conduct of 13 members of Congress beyond the Unethical Guru Tom DeLay (it's only wrong if YOU do it, not me, sucker!). Funny, there's little Billy Frist, lately in the news for a most questionable stock sell off a mere two weeks before a bad report plunged the stock 16% but he's totally above board, yep. This sanctimonious dutchbag and finance law aren't well acquainted or maybe he's just the abusive one in the relationship.

He lost any respect I might have had for him after the whole Terri Schiavo debacle in which he pronounced her capable of brain activity after a lengthy watching of a short video. Nice work, Doctor Dumbfuck. I hope you do get the GOP nomination because carving you apart publicly would be great fun and easy too since you're such an irrepressible asshat. And Bill, a blind trust means you don't know what's going on with it intentionally, not that they send you statements of activity. So, saying you wanted to avoid an appearance of impropriety and actually avoiding an appearance of impropriety are two very, very different things and you're one guilty stupid asshole.

And there's Ricky Santorum who wouldn't know a moral or ethic if it smacked him in the face for trying to buy it cheap. But he can be bought cheap, a mere $2000 bribe was enough for Rick to introduce a bill to benefit Accuweather, Inc. and other privateer weather companies. What a lame ass cheap putz who should be covering his ass in prison instead of interviewing on Larry King Live about how the gays are going to ruin America.

Its not all partisan, of course, there are asshat corrupt Democrats as well, like William Jefferson who's from Louisiana and keeps large sums of money in his freezer, especially when that money was given to him by the VP of Nigeria for some considerations. And, after Katrina, he used the National Guard to get to his house and get some stuff, which I don't fault him for in the least but is, apparently, not very cool to do. Makes sense to me though since the city was still more or less uncontrolled and there was some danger in allowing him to wander without protection.

Its pretty sick and wrong that these people are our "leaders" when the example they lead by is one of an absence of morals and ethics and is based on greed, bribery and back door politics.
