It came to my mind earlier that there are some pretty damned clever nicknames that have arisen from this election season. Some that are less than complimentary, some that are just downright mean and some that do a nice job of encapsulating a particular stance.
So I thought I'd try to gather some of them here.
Let's start with Mr. George W. Bush:
Dubya, Shrub, Shrubya, ShrubCo, BuLLshIT, His Royal Smarminess, Chimp.
Some for the GOP:
The Wrong, the Gay Old Pricks, The Axis of Evil, Resmuglicans, Lapdogs.
Some for John Kerry:
sKerry, Kaptain Kerry, Lurch, Botox Man.
And some for the Democratic Party:
Panty waisted girlie men, Dimocrats, Dumacrats, Bitches, Liberal Bleeding Heart.
