Matthew Yglesias: The Widening Reality-Based Community

I came across Matthew Yglesias' blog, a well written and nearly rant free smart blog. A few days ago, he wrote a short post, The Widening Reality-Based Community, discussing the difficulties that Bush opponents faced in choosing a single avenue of attack on Bush.

There are alot of us now, in this short time. I count myself in the Reality-Based Community because I choose to not overlook Bush's shortcomings, I choose to see and report on his failings as a leader, I choose to call Bush/Cheney/Ashcroft/Rove/Rumsfeld et.al on their lies and deceptions.

I choose to exist in reality rather than Bush's fairy tale land (don't worry, there are no scary gay people in Bush's fairy land) where Iraq is nearly secure, the US is safer than ever and our economy is strong and growing. The reality is very different from the sugar coated Bush version.

I choose reality. It makes it easier to affect positive change if you accept and live in reality. Which side would you choose?
