Thoughts on the Debate

I really enjoyed hearing Kerry call Bush's Clear Skies Act an Orwellian construct. Same thing for No Child Left Behind. Brilliant.

Maybe a little too much for some but I liked it.

That and the movement aspect of the debate made it much, much better. I liked seeing John Kerry stare down at George Bush. I liked him assuming an accusatory stance.

And I like hearing Kerry talk about making life better for the 80% and not the 1% who got $89 billion back under Bush's tax cut last year (according to Kerry's numbers, check them if you want to), Eighty nine billion, hmm, hey wait, didn't Bush get something like, oh, I don't know, $87 billion for Iraq? Funny that.

And how much has Iraq cost now?
