Michael Barone of US News and World Report: Media trashed Palin because ‘she did not abort her Down syndrome baby.’
The room was full of some 500 academics and some got up and walked out as a result. To them I say, good on you for having some ethics. Michael Barone does not.
Barone tried to pretend he made a bad, bad joke. But he's a journalist, not a comedian and its a long stretch to think he wasn't at least partially serious.
Which is to say, Michael Barone is an absolute moron who deserves to be publicly ridiculed until such a time as another moron not only shoves his foot in his mouth but starts chewing and declaring it tastes yummy.
