So what kind of a man is the new Attorny General? Well, he likes killing things, he likes torturing things and he doesn't really like the idea of being held accountable to the Geneva Conventions.
Read The Roots of Torture for some more insight on this new Attorney General. I'm sure you'll be just as unsurprised that Bush selected him, he's a craven asshole who thinks our troops should be able to torture prisoners without regard to their rights at all.

The further raping of a nation continues unabated while slack jawed yokels belly up to their tv's to watch American Idol. God Bless America, because we've sneezed hatred, intolerance and the culture of fear all over ourselves. I'd prefer the non-secular Gesundheit (German for Good health rather than extending that stupid belief that a sneeze exorcised a demon).
Who's going to replace Evans? What about Colin Powell? I can't imagine any scenario where Powell stays involved with this administration. Unless he's been so thoroughly beat down that he doesn't have the strength to get up and leave anymore. Then they should just put him out of his misery.
